NEW COLLEGE STUDENTS celebrate best ever A Level Results

Over 1200 students are today receiving A Level and AS results at New College Telford, the largest provider of general advanced education in the local area.
 
At A2, a record 98% achieved A level passes, with a third receiving the highest A*-B grades. The proportion of A*-C grades is also high at over 60%.

NEW COLLEGE TELFORD student chosen by local author to illustrate new children’s book

Natalie Furnival, a part-time student at New College Telford has beaten off strong competition and won the opportunity to illustrate a new children’s book by local Wellington author, Catherine Cooper.

After a chance meeting by Natalie’s mother with the author, Natalie put forward her illustration designs and was chosen as the winner.

Over £2000 has been raised by a group of students from New College Telford taking part in the Three Peaks Challenge, which involves climbing the highest mountains in England, Scotland and Wales. These are Scafell Pike, Ben Nevis and Snowdon respectively.
