To support students who may be experiencing financial hardship, the government last year introduced the 16 – 18 Bursary and 19+ Bursary. These funds were established to support learners to access education.

To ensure that learners are supported to fully access their programmes of learning, funding bodies suggest that support awards are related to eligibility criteria, such as students’ dependency status, household income, and their attendance and behaviour in college.

 

If you would like to enquire whether you may be eligible for a one off support award from the Discretionary Bursary fund, please complete the online form. If you need to access this form in another format please contact us, either on 01952 641892, email studentservices@nct.ac.uk or in person at Student Services.

 

Funds are limited, so awards will be made on a discretionary, one off basis.

For those assessed as eligible for support, the award will take the form of a specific benefit, related specifically to your programme of study.
