Careers guidance at New College is second to none. A wealth of information is available in the careers library including reference books, employment information, gap year options and lots of other general information.
New College offers information on all UK universities via prospectuses and CD Rom. Other software packages, designed to identify a range of options based on your programme of study are also available. Interviews with an experienced Connexions Adviser can also be arranged.
Trips to university open days and regional Higher Education fairs enable students to obtain further advice and gather information before they have to make their university application decisions. " Job Seekers Week" makes all students aware of employment opportunities. In addition, the college hosts a "Higher Education Day" each year when universities from all over the country come to New College to offer advice and guidance to prospective applicants.
