This course is designed to enable you to:

Listen and respond to different types of language

Communicate in Spanish for a variety of purposes

Read and respond to different types of written language

Communicate in writing for a variety of purposes

Use and understand a range of vocabulary and structures

Understand and apply the grammar of the language

Is it for me?

The course suits those who want to progress to AS/A2 Spanish at the end of the course, those who enjoy learning languages and those who may have learnt another language successfully. This is a one year course and assessment is exam based for the listening, reading and speaking units and controlled conditions for 2 pieces of writing.

GCSE English Language grade C or equivalent.
